A Gemini Award nominee and winner of an AMPIA Award for Best Direction, Patricia Harris Seeley’s feature film directorial debut The Legend of La Llorona with Danny Trejo, Autumn Reeser and Antonio Cupo, will be released theatrically by Saban Films in January 2022.
Patricia has written and/or directed over 60 episodes of television in sci-fi comedy, reality, documentary and lifestyle programming including Caution, May Contain Nuts, X- Weighted, Puppy SOS, Divine Life, DreamChasers. She developed her directing skills through the Women In the Director’s Chair (WIDC) and furthered her skills studying directing for multi-camera and green screen productions in LA. She has written and directed several short films that have won international awards and have screened in festivals around the world. Her short film Superhero Wannabe won best film at the 7 Minute Film Festival and received a New York Times’ Critic Pick when it premiered at TIFF.
A published author of an award-winning children’s book and writer for Canada’s top science and women’s magazines, Patricia’s sci-fi screenplays have multiple international screenwriting awards. Her sci-fi short called The Consort, won multiple screenwriting competitions as well as the WIDC @Wallace Studios Award for production with support by the The Banff Centre with WETA Digital’s Annabelle Kent.
Her screenplay My Human was the WIDC nomination to Telefilm Micro Budget Program and is currently in pre-production.
Trevor Seeley
Producer
Leveraging his degree in economics Trevor began his career in Los Angeles interning under Heidi Jo-Markel (LONDON HAS FALLEN, OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN, PLAYING FOR KEEPS, TRUST). Soon after he joined a commercial agency writing, directing, and producing over 30 commercials over the course of two years. Eager to deepen his industry knowledge, Trevor studied master level producing at UCLA and shortly after opened Ageless Pictures alongside Harris Seeley.
Trevor produced and sold THE LEGEND OF LA LLORONA (Danny Trejo, Autumn Reeser) which is being distributed by SABAN FILMS theatrically January 7th 2022. He is in pre-production on zombie/rom-com ADAM & AMY @ THE END alongside Cameron Larson with David Arquette attached to direct as well as THE DECEIVERS with Eduardo Sanchez (BLAIRE WITCH PROJECT) attached to direct. Trevor is in active development on over 6 feature films and 3 TV shows and in 2021 launched a new finance/production company, Dark Ages, geared towards producing/financing genre only films.
